One Man Star Wars Trilogy at the Reading Concert Hall

I’d heard good reviews on the One Man Star Wars Trilogy show from when it was at the Edinburgh Fringe last year, so when I found that it was going to be in Reading I booked a couple of tickets for Alice and myself.

Well, I have to say that Murphy struck, and due to severe delays on the trains, Alice wasn’t able to make it, but I did, and I have to say that it really is a great show.

The warm up act before the show (who I’m annoyed that can’t remember the name of) was excellent, but Charles Ross was excellent.  The only other similar act I’ve seen was the Gary Shelford performance of Animal Farm at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2006, but this had a much quicker pace.

Essentially Charles Ross performs an abridges version of the original three star wars films in 60 minutes.  It was fast paced and extremely funny, a must see if you get the opportunity.

First Full Day Back at Work

Well, I’ve been back at work doing half days for the last week or so, but decided that due to the amount of work that I’d put in a full shift today.

I managed it, but only just, we were incredibly busy and boy, was I knackered when I got home, I don’t know how I’m going to stay awake through the “One Man Star Wars Trilogy” tonight.
